These terms are a placeholder draft and have not been reviewed by counsel. They do not yet form a binding agreement. zk-pad is already deployed on BSC mainnet; reviewed terms are still outstanding and will be published here.

Draft outline

1. Nature of the software. zk-pad is open-source software for interacting with smart contracts on BNB Smart Chain. The contributors do not custody user funds, operate an exchange, or provide investment, legal or tax advice.
2. No warranty. The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. The licenses of each component (MIT, GPL-2.0-or-later) apply.
3. Your responsibilities. You are responsible for your keys, your transactions, and compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction, including sanctions and tax obligations.
4. Prohibited use. Do not use zk-pad to launch coins that impersonate people or organisations, to defraud others, to launder money, or to evade sanctions.
5. Third-party services. Relayers, attestors, indexers and front-ends may be operated by different parties with their own terms.
6. Risks. You have read and accept the risk disclosure.
7. Changes. These terms may change; the version in force will be dated on this page.
